No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.
Started by the Hill family after losing their dad to colorectal cancer, charities are chosen each year as beneficiaries of the funds raised. Fight Colorectal Cancer was one of those charities in 2016.
This "Let's Get Hairy" graphic was displayed in Times Square to kick off No-Shave November 2016. The social media graphic was designed to show that No-Shave November isn't only for men.
The campaign in 2016 raised more than $1.6M.
